Each of our seven guest rooms and suites has its own special character and is designed for use by two persons only. The top floor suite is suitable for two couples only.

Lavish interiors only hinted at by elaborate Gothic gingerbread, are richly ornamented with sophisticated and unexpected artifacts reflecting decades of refined collecting. Each room is artfully arranged to open a window into the past, embracing all who enter with warmth and intimacy. Fascinating links to the 19th century are revealed at every turn, encouraging one's eye to explore and imagination to soar. The four story mansion offers seven guest rooms and suites: majestic, high ceilinged rooms with Queen-beds on the first and entry levels; the middle level and top floor rooms are double-bed suites. All rooms have exceptionally beautiful private baths and access to private or shared verandas.

There is a two night minimum Saturdays (April through December), most holidays, and the 2nd and 3rd Wednesdays in December for Victorian Christmas and Candlelight Tour. But quite often a Saturday only stay becomes available and there is no additional charge, so please call to inquire (530) 265-5135. Single night stays are possible Sunday through Friday except Thanksgiving weekend.

Two diminutive three room suites occupy the original children's floor where the ceilings are but seven feet high. Both suites are furnished with an endearing mixture of Victorian styles reflecting the multi-generational Williams family home. Both suites have private parlors, bedrooms with a double bed and en-suite bathrooms. From the gallery, floor to ceiling french doors open to the veranda with a panoramic tree-top view of town.

Top Floor
Two flights up.
On the top floor under the eaves, sloped ceilings, windows at the floor level and the magnificent view from the tree top veranda make the two bedroom Garret Suite a favorite for two couples traveling together. The private bath with shower is conveniently located a few steps below. Robes are provided.
